AXA appoints new CEO of AXA Next and Group Chief Innovation Officer

AXA has announced the appointment of Jef Van In, currently CEO of AXA Belgium, as CEO of AXA Next and Group Chief Innovation Officer, effective 1 July 2021.

He will report to Antimo Perretta, CEO of AXA Europe and a Member of AXA’s Management Committee.

Jef Van In will replace Delphine Maisonneuve who has decided to take on a new role outside of AXA.

Biography

Jef Van In graduated as Business Engineer from the KULeuven, and obtained an executive MBA at the Flanders Business School. In 1993 he started his career in commercial and institutional banking at ING Bank Belgium. In 2000 he switched to retail banking to occupy various managerial roles in distribution and product management. In 2007 he moved to Ukraine to start a retail greenfield bank for ING. In 2011 he joined AXA Group to become CEO of AXA Bank Europe. As of 2013 he also became CEO of AXA CEE region (insurance). In July 2016 he was appointed CEO of AXA Belgium and president of the supervisory Board of AXA Bank.
