ARAG appoints Alastair Sambrook as Broker Business Manager

ARAG has appointed Alastair Sambrook to the critical role of Broker Business Manager.

Reporting to ARAG’s UK Sales Manager for before-the-event business, Matt Warren, Alastair will be responsible for leading the broker account team and for developing relationships with brokers, predominantly in the South East of England.

In an insurance career already spanning more than 30 years, Alastair has held a number of broker management, business development and leadership roles for several major insurance brands, including XL Catlin, Markel and Allianz.

Commenting on the appointment, Matt Warren said:

Alastair obviously brings with him a huge amount of experience, not just of the insurance industry, but specifically in managing relationships with brokers.”

Responding to Matt’s comments, Alastair added:

Alastair is taking up his new role just in time to represent ARAG and start meeting brokers at this year’s Broker Expo, being held in Coventry this week.
