AmTrust International buys legal expenses insurance business

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), a subsidiary of AmTrust International, and a leading provider of legal expenses insurance (LEI) products in the UK and Ireland, has today announced the acquisition of Legal Insurance Management Group (LIM) by AmTrust International, a wholly owned subsidiary of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. The terms of the acquisition are not disclosed.

This acquisition forms part of AmTrust’s vision to be a leading specialty commercial property and casualty insurer by focusing on local markets and niche products where they can add significant value. 

LIM is an ISO 9001-certififed specialist in the legal expenses, professional fees, home emergency and vehicle breakdown insurance markets in the UK and Republic of Ireland. They have built a reputation for providing innovative, bespoke protection and peace of mind for their diverse range of clients, maintaining a commitment to delivering not only high-quality insurance products, but also a premium level of service to their customers.
