Richard Walkden announced as Robertson Taylor’s new Head of Operations

Global insurance broker for the live entertainment industry, Robertson Taylor, has announced the appointment of Richard Walkden as its new Head of UK Operations.

Richard brings over 30 years’ experience to Robertson Taylor having previously held roles at Richard & Michaels, RFIB, Aon, and FirstCity.

At Robertson Taylor, Richard will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of processes to support and drive Robertson Taylor’s ongoing global expansion growth. With revenue hitting £17million in 2014, Richard’s appointment follows a record year for Robertson Taylor and further demonstrates the business’s commitment to delivering on its growth ambitions.

Richard’s appointment follows several senior hires to the executive team at Robertson Taylor in the past 6-months, including Kelly Belton-Brown as Head of UK Music & Events, Paul Chapman as Global Broking Director and most recently, Richard Arnold as Head of Private Client Services UK.
