Lockton Companies LLP has unveiled a significant new addition to its North of England operations.
David Leyssens, currently Head of Office at Marsh Manchester has announced he will be joining Lockton in June 2016 as a Senior Vice President.
Reporting to Lockton North’s Managing Partner Matt Davies, he will be responsible for driving further growth of their already strong position in the Corporate sector across the North.
Matt Davies commented: “I have known David for over 15 years as a respected competitor, but also a friend; insurance is a people business, and in my opinion, he is one of the outstanding people in the North West insurance broking sector. This is a real coup for Lockton as he commands huge respect from his clients, colleagues and the wider business community. The fact he has chosen to leave Marsh for Lockton says a huge amount about how our business has developed in the last 8 years; more importantly it demonstrates our desire to continue and accelerate our growth. David has a period in the garden now which I am sure he will enjoy, and will be with us in early/mid 2016”.
David’s arrival follows soon after a series of other senior level hires at Lockton North, including Elaine Owen (Bluefin), Kelvin Chadwick (Aon), Richard Buckle and Lyndsay Robertson (both Marsh).
