Kingsbridge Group (“Kingsbridge”), the UK’s leading provider of specialist insurance services to contractors, freelancers and the recruitment industry, has announced a number of senior promotions within its Kingsbridge Contractor Insurance (“KCI”) division.

Thomas Wynne is promoted from Business Development Director to Managing Director of KCI, taking day to day responsibility for Kingsbridge’s largest division.  James Ledingham is promoted from Head of Implementation to Operations Director of KCI, with responsibility for technology, data security, change management and project implementation. Liam Green is promoted from Head of Underwriting to Underwriting Director of KCI, expanding his carrier management and underwriting responsibilities. Thomas, James and Liam have been with the business since its inception, fulfilling a wide range of roles over the last eleven years

These promotions mark the latest in a series of changes designed to position the business for long term growth, following UK private equity firm Dunedin’s investment in 2016 and the appointment of James Twining as Group CEO last year, with founder Steve Wynne moving to become Deputy Chairman.

Commenting on the promotions, James Twining, Chief Executive of Kingsbridge said: “Thomas, James and Liam have been absolutely integral to making KCI the business that it is today. These promotions illustrate our dedication to nurturing talent within the business as we strengthen our team to drive the growth of the business.”

Thomas Wynne, MD of Kingsbridge Contractor Insurance, echoed those sentiments: “This is an exciting time for Kingsbridge. We’ve grown rapidly as a company in the last few years but there’s still plenty of room for further improvement. The onus is firmly on us to make that growth happen, and we are all very much looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
