Gallagher announces appointment of Sales Director

Gallagher has announced that Kathryn Moon has been appointed sales director for the North area, incorporating the Midlands and North regions of England, plus Scotland and Northern Ireland.

In her new role, Kathryn is responsible for defining and implementing Gallagher’s business development agenda for the region. Gallagher’s offices in the North look after a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from large corporate organisations through to SMEs, with specialist divisions including construction, charities, care and trade credit.

Kathryn’s appointment follows a period of expansion for Gallagher’s 70-strong regional branch network, having completed a number of acquisitions in 2019, including Stackhouse Poland which became fully integrated in November last year.

With over 20 years’ insurance experience, Kathryn joined Gallagher in 2013 as deputy managing director of the Coventry office, before being appointed managing director in 2015. Prior to joining Gallagher, Kathryn worked at Oval for 15 years, managing client relationships across industries including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, technology and IT.
