Clear Group expands UK footprint with acquisition of Sheffield broker IFM Insurance Brokers Limited
Leading independent broker, the Clear Group today announces the acquisition of IFM Insurance Brokers Ltd. This latest deal represents the 37th acquisition made by the Clear Group and enhances its presence across the Yorkshire region.
Based in Sheffield, IFM is a chartered insurance broker which has been present in the region for over 30 years. The business provides insurance for local businesses across South Yorkshire, from large manufacturing firms, SMEs and to tradesmen. The business employs 24 staff and controls a growing GWP of over £12m.
The IFM team including directors Mark Barlow, Alister Smith and Jamie Harvey will all join the Clear Group as it seeks to grow and invest in its regional capability across Yorkshire.
