As a sponsor of ‘Shaun in the City’ in Bristol, Bluefin Professions organised a fundraising day in which teams competed to visit as many ‘Shaun in the City’ sculptures as possible in just four hours. In total 150 people from 25 companies took part, raising more than £10,000 for The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity.

Bluefin Professions are the sponsor of the sculpture called ‘Lily’, by local artist Laura Cramer. ‘Lily’ is one of 70 sculptures of Aardman Animation’s Shaun the Sheep currently on display all over Bristol. The flock will be auctioned later this year to raise funds for The Grand Appeal.

Mark Westgarth, Managing Director of Bluefin Professions, said: “As a proud sponsor of ‘Shaun in the City’ we wanted to do everything we could to raise as much money as possible for The Grand Appeal. We’re absolutely thrilled to have raised as much as we have and had a thoroughly enjoyable time in the process.”

In addition to the fundraising day Bluefin Professions also organised a silent auction, a cake sale and a raffle with top prizes including an Apple watch, a balloon flight, a country escape for two, Bath Spa vouchers and Bristol Zoo tickets, all donated by local businesses. Proceeds from these activities brought in an additional £3,000 which will also go to The Grand Appeal.
