Travel Insurance Facilities appoints new Head of Client

Specialist full lifecycle travel insurance provider Travel Insurance Facilities Group (TIFG) has appointed Fiona Macrae as Head of Client Engagement. This is a new executive role, reporting to Richard Smith, Managing Director of TIFG.

Fiona was formerly brand director, and founder, of specialist medical travel insurance product Insurancewith.com, part of intermediary Infinity Insurance Solutions (IIS) direct product suite. Fiona will be responsible for TIFG’s growth strategy through client engagement, marketing and digital content management. She will specialise in delivering the company’s plans to implement strategic customer engagement across all six of its business divisions.

Fiona has over 20 years’ experience in personal lines broking, having started her career in motor with Scottish broker J. C. Roxburgh & Co. She joined Lloyd’s and London Market broker Sterling Hamilton Wright in 2000 as Head of VIP Client Services, where she worked with celebrity and high net worth clients. From 2006, she has been a leading figure in the travel insurance market, developing award-winning specialist travel products for those with medical conditions such as cancer and genetic diseases.
