Arthur J. Gallagher is pleased to confirm that Andrew Agnew, managing director of specialty and a member of the Executive Committee, has been appointed as Chairman of the London & International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA). He succeeds Steve Hearn of CGSC and takes up the position with immediate effect. Andrew has served as deputy chairman of the Association for the past two years.
Andrew joined Arthur J. Gallagher in May 2011 from Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) where he had served as Chairman of its London market specialty arm since 2007. He has spent the past four years building a strong London Market business of distinct specialisms, offering depth of expertise in all chosen areas.
