Bluefin has improved its regional farm insurance expertise by appointing a second dedicated Account Executive for Farming and Agriculture.
Linda Davy joins Bluefin from Farmers & Mercantile having previously worked at Willis, McLaren’s Loss Adjusters and Gale and Phillipson. She brings almost 30 years of industry experience from both a broking and claims background and will help all clients with farm related insurance requirements. She will be based in Harrogate reporting to Branch Director Richard Darbyshire.
Her appointment comes months after Bluefin hired another experienced farm insurance specialist, Ed Davey (no relation), in Lincoln. Her detailed understanding of the farming and agriculture industry will be a major boost for Bluefin in the sector.
Linda Davy commented: “I am excited to join Bluefin to support in their ambitious growth plans. Their existing strength and strong ambition in Farm insurance is incredibly appealing and energising and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Richard Darbyshire commented: “We’re really pleased to welcome Linda whose wealth of experience and knowledge will be such a huge asset for us here in Harrogate and to the wider group. Farming insurance is an incredibly important sector to us and one we’re keen to keep developing and no doubt Linda will be instrumental in this.”
