Ben Fletcher, Director of the IFB, said: ‘We are pleased to welcome Rob to the Board, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time in the industry. His insight will be instrumental to guiding the strategic direction of the Bureau and ultimately the industry’s collective fight against insurance fraud.”

Rob Townend, Claims Director for UK General Insurance at Aviva, said: “It’s a great honour to be appointed to the Insurance Fraud Bureau Board which does fantastic work in fighting fraud.  I look forward to bringing to the table the wealth of experience Aviva has in tackling fraudulent activity which honest customers pay for in their premiums. The industry is working hard to stop this with the IFB and I can’t wait to take on this further challenge.”
